Lloyd Tommy Mitchell

Mr. Lloyd Tommy Mitchell, 59, a resident of Dozier, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 after a battle with cancer.

Mr. Mitchell traveled all over as a truck driver for the timber industry. He was also a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed by all those he leaves behind.

Mr. Mitchell was preceded in death by his grandson, Allen Kyle Raupach; father, L.W. Mitchell; mother, Patricia Thompson Freeman; and brother, William Richard Mitchell. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Brenda Fuller Mitchell; four children, Sharon Lynn (Gary) Berry, Patricia Jane Medley, Toni Cook, and Casey Cook; twelve grandchildren, Briana Raupach, Dylan Dennis, Dixie Dennis, Emma Berry, Kimberly Berry, Steven Medley, Zachary Medley, Thomas Dennis, Hayden Jones, Matt Welch, Amber Welch, and Haley Mitchell; great-grandson, Daniel Raupach; and brother, Frank (B.J.) Mitchell.

The family will hold a memorial service for Mr. Mitchell at a later time.
