Lorraine Black Duffell

DUFFELL, Mrs. Lorraine B., 97, a resident of Honoraville, Alabama, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016. Funeral services for Mrs. Duffell will be held at 2 PM on Monday, December 19, from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Leverette and Rev. Mason Halacker officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion “Old Lodge” Cemetery in Honoraville with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Duffell was preceded in death by husband, Amos Duffell, infant son, Charles Duffell, great-grandson, Blake Price, and two sons-in-law, Thomas Holliday and Raybon Beasley. She is survived by her three daughters, Marjorie Beasley, Jeanette Holliday, and Mary Ann Wilkes, six grandchildren, Michael (Frances) Beasley, Steven (Kim) Beasley, David (Cindy) Beasley, Anthony (Susan) Holliday, Allen Peterson, and Karon (Randy) White, thirteen great-grandchildren, and three great great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Michael Beasley, Steven Beasley, David Beasley, Anthony Holliday, Allen Peterson, Kenny McGough, and Randy White. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Luverne Health & Rehabilitation and Crenshaw Community Hospital for their loving care. They will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12:30 – 2pm.
