Louisa Whitman Till

TILL, Mrs. Louisa Whitman Nuckolls, age 92, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, February 20, 2016 in Luverne Emmaus Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Weeks officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Till was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. W.A. Till, her parents, Frank and Erin Brunson Nuckolls, and brother-in-law, Brown Franklin. She is survived by her two children, William (Margaret) Till and Margaret (James Matta) Till, two grandchildren, James Till (Tina) Matta and William Till, III, and her sister, Frances Elizabeth Franklin. Active pallbearers will be James Till Matta, William A. Till, III, Lucas Boyd, Benjamin Boyd, David Folmar, and Ronald Gardner. The family requests that any memorial donations be made to either Glenwood Methodist Church or Animal Tails Rescue, 408 Lee Street, Luverne, Alabama 36049. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery Saturday at service time.
