Lucille Anderson Hilliard

Hilliard, Mrs. Lucille “Lucy” Anderson, 96, a resident of Luverne died Thursday April 21, 2011. Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday April 23, 2011 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Jud Flint officiating. Interment will follow in Rutledge Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Hilliard is preceded in death by her husband, John W. “Bill” Hilliard; parents, Willie and Lodell Walker Anderson; six sisters, Lanie Tanner, Ida Bell McCartha, Yarbie Worthington, Cordie Stephenson, Lee Fowler and Mae Lyons; and two brothers, Buddy Anderson and Hershel Anderson. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Scottie Wallace, Billy Joe Evans, Tim Fowler, Alex Alexander, Kevin Manning and Steven Stephenson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 10 am until service time.
