Mrs. Luvene Beasley Pippin, 96, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away peacefully in Montgomery on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. A graveside service for Mrs. Pippin will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, December 5th, in Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Stephen Nulph officiating and Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mrs. Pippin dedicated her life to taking care of others. She raised her children in a warm, loving home where she took pride in everything she did for them. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed sharing that gift with others. She was often the go-to for many looking for a loving babysitter. She lived a long, full life, and her family now rejoices that she is walking with Lord and Savior now.

Mrs. Pippin was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Pippin; two children, Judy Pippin and Lamar Pippin; and her parents, Willis & Addie Bell Holley Beasley. She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Virginia & Tony Calhoun; eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren.
