Madalyn Fox Smith

SMITH, Mrs. Madalyn Fox, 94, a resident of Luverne and formerly of Troy died Sunday, March 12, 2017. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Cliff Cobb officiating. Interment will follow in Green Hills Cemetery, Troy, AL with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her husband, James A. Smith; her parents, Kruicinga and Mary Boyd Fox; four sisters, Suzie F. Howard, OZ F. Goodwin, Tina Mae F. Gursky, and Louise F. Clanton; and two brothers, Henry Kruicinga Fox and William Houston Fox. Survivors include three children, Jill S. (Billy) King, Kruse Calvin Smith, and Cydne (Chris) Burgess and six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:30 am until service time. Memorial donations may be made to the Methodist Church of your choice or to one’s favorite charity.
