Manilla "Micki" Boyd

BOYD, Mrs. Manilla “Micki,” 68, a resident of Highland Home, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018. Funeral services for Mrs. Boyd will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, February 12, at New Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Horn officiating. Interment will follow in New Ebenezer Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Boyd was preceded in death by her parents, Amos Edwin and Clair Brannon Harris. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Ronnie Boyd, four children, Misty (Ron) Dean, Kirk (Angela) Edwards, Kim (Travis) Jinright, and Wesley (Kim) Boyd, seventeen grandchildren, Alyssa Dean, Kaydra Strength, Brandon Strength, Peyton Dean, Emma Clair Strength, Erika (Daniel) Scrushy, Lacey (Justen) Campbell, Britney Ramer, Melanie (Jeremy) Feith, Amy Mansnerus, Toni Edwards, Jessica (David) Sewell, Jacelyn Jinright, Trey Jinright, Cortlyn Boyd, Isabella Boyd, and Sophia Boyd, twenty great-grandchildren, and her brother, Robert Edwin (Martina) Harris. Active pallbearers will be Brandon Strength, Trey Jinright, David Sewell, Justen Campbell, Daniel Scrushy, and Brandon Walker. Ron Dean and Travis Jinright will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family requests that any memorial donations be made to either the American Cancer Society or one’s favorite charity. They will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 12:30 - 2pm.
