Obituary

Margaret Ann Bradley Rogers, 82, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, October 1st, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. A graveside service for Margaret will be held at 2 PM on Monday, October 5th, in the family cemetery Memory Hill 1982 on North Gravel Hill Road, with Rev. Donald Bradley officiating and Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. The family will receive friends at Lighthouse Holiness Church on Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 PM.

Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved her family with every part of her heart. Affectionately known as "Granny" and "Nana" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was happiest when surrounded by the people she loved.

She had a soft spot for flowers and hummingbirds and enjoyed tending her garden, sewing, coloring, and watching old movies with her husband and family. Margaret also spent many years helping run the family store, where her kindness and generous nature were evident to everyone who came through the door. She welcomed people with open arms and had a wonderful way of accepting others for exactly who they were, never judging anyone by what they looked like or what they had.

Her family describes Margaret as an amazing woman who truly broke the mold. She was kind, generous, and loving, but she also had a little fire in her. Those who knew her best knew that if you managed to make her mad enough to see that fire in her eyes, you had probably earned it. That spark was simply another part of the woman they loved so dearly. More than anything, Margaret loved her family, and the love she gave them will remain a part of their lives for years to come.

Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Timmy Rex Owens; parents, Jim Kendick Bradley and Maudie Pearl Acreman; and siblings, Maxie Bradley Lowe, Jimmie Doris Fagen, Bobby Gene Bradley, and Phillip Bradley, and Junior Bradley.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, James Rogers; children, Marsha (Daryl) Williams and DeAndrick (Ashley) Robinson; grandchildren, Chelsi Pruitt, Jonnie (Michael) Lloyd, Aurora Robinson, Brandon (Savannah) Williams, Ezra Robinson; great-grandchildren, Jana Wood, Jeana Wood, Julie Wood, Ellie Williams, Sophia Williams, and Bennett James Williams; brother, Howard (Michelle) Bradley; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Active pallbearers will be DeAndrick Robinson, Brandon Williams, Rusty Wood, Timmy Franks, Tim Boswell, and Chelsi Pruitt with Tim Boswell Jr as an honorary pallbearer.
