Mrs. Best was an incredibly gifted seamstress, spending many years working in local textile factories and honing her craft at home as well. She also enjoyed beautiful flowers and bright colors that lit up her life, as well as watching the hummingbirds dance outside. Beyond that, she was extremely wise in sharing her advice with others, as well as being a truly selfless and kind person to all who knew her. She also had a special talent for riling up her husband as they would tease each other in a true testament to their enduring love. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed beyond all measure.
Mrs. Best was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Hugh & Nellie Ruth Kilpatrick Andress, and her siblings, Travis Andress, Pete Andress, and Mary Reeves. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Michael Randall Best Sr; children, Donnie Michael (Kelli) Bowlan, Debi (Josh) Wood, Elizabeth (Keith) Jett, Michael Randall Best Jr, and Donna (Lamar) Riley; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Susan (Jerry) Davis, Martha Phillips, and Carolyn (Dewayne) Culliver; and sister-in-law, Sara Andress.
