Margie Goodwin Summerlin

SUMMERLIN, Mrs. Margie Goodwin, 83, a resident of Luverne, died Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 29, 2010 at 2PM from Centenary Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow in Centenary Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing with Rev. Bob Carter officiation. Mrs. Summerlin is preceded in death by her parents, John and Cubie Goodwin; four brothers, Earl, Ralph, Gus and Robert Goodwin. She is survived by one son and daughter in law, Jimmy and Norma McGinney; three grandchildren, Sabrina McGinney, Rona Peterson and William “Bubba” (Becca) McGinney; two step grandchildren, Grey Jones and Elliott Jones; six great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Bubba McGinney, Josh Brewer, Blake Peterson, Lomax Tomlin, Anthony Goodwin and Billy Joe Evans. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6PM till 8PM.
