Marie Franklin Boyd

BOYD, Mrs. Marie Franklin,86, a resident of Luverne, died Sunday, November 28, 2010.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 2PM from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Leverette and Maria Simmons officiating. Interment will follow in Rocky Mount Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Boyd is preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Boyd; parents, Ruben and Lessie Franklin; two sisters, Jewell Franklin and Doris Walitalo; two brothers,
James L. Franklin and Benjamin P. Franklin. Survivors include a sister, Loraine Carter; a brother, Charles R. Franklin; five nieces, Beverly (Al) Babich, Judy (Mike) Jahrig, Kim (Neal) Neuenschwander, Kathy Franklin, and Melissa (Matt) Waters; and two nephews, Wayne (Edwina) Franklin and Phil (Nicole) Franklin. Active pallbearers will be Craig Pouncey, Buck Franklin, Dee Bennett, Guy Bruce, Al Babich and Ryan Waters. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6PM until 8PM.
