Marie Gray Clemmons

CLEMMONS, Mrs. Marie Gray, 90, a resident of Luverne, Alabama and formerly of Petrey, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Monday, March 28, from the chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Danny Rolling officiating. Interment will follow in Petrey Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Clemmons was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Clemmons, son, Jimmy Clemmons, and parents, Lankston and Birdie Mae George Gray. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Vera Clemmons, two grandsons, Neil Clemmons of Pelham, Alabama and Greg (Dani) Clemmons of Birmingham, Alabama, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Clemmons was the oldest of six children and has one living sister, Inez Carlton, who lives in Ohio. Active pallbearers will be Neil Clemmons, Greg Clemmons, Stark Walker, Elton Taylor, Lamar Rolling, and Jeffrey Rolling. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1 – 2pm.
