Marjorie was a loving mother and grandmother. She was especially devoted to ensuring her daughter Daisy, who was diagnosed with diabetes and epilepsy at a young age, always had a safe, loving environment in which to thrive throughout her life. Marjorie was also an extremely devout Christian. She spent a good portion of her time in the study of the Bible so that she could better emulate the traits Christians are commanded to embody by their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a lifelong member of Brantley Baptist Church, where she held many roles, including custodian of the building so that it was always ready for visitors. She loved every moment she was able to spend with her church family there during her lifetime and served as a inspiration to many over the years.
Marjorie was a truly open-hearted and generous person. She believed in always going the extra mile for those in need. She lived to help others and nothing made her happier than to live a life of service. Marjorie was known in Brantley for her cooking and baking skills. She could make the most delicious chicken pot pie from scratch and her pies and cakes were always in demand, especially her chocolate pie being everyone's favorite. She also enjoyed growing lovely flowers in her flower beds.
The simple things were treasured by Marjorie, her friends and loved ones meant the world to her. Memories she made with her loved ones throughout her life will continue to be amongst their most prized possessions for many years to come
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, George Leonard & Norna Clyde Pinckard Williamson, and siblings, George Williamson Jr, William Williamson, Raymond Williamson, Lomax Williamson, Mary Julia W.
