No one better embodied the values of a Proverbs 31 woman than Sue whose worth by far exceeded all the rubies in the world. She feared and loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with all her heart and soul like a good Christian woman should. She wore her strength and dignity with all the grace a proper Southern lady should, and her generosity and selflessness was an inspiration to everyone she encountered. Sue was also a source of infinite wisdom for her beloved family throughout their lives, as well as an available ear to listen and dependable shoulder to lean on. Her kindness and industriousness will continue to be a lifelong role model for every life she touched. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother to three generations who was loved and will be missed beyond all measure.
Sue was preceded in death by her cherished husband of 68 of years, William Edward Bagents; grandchildren, Allen Bagents, Daniel Bush, and Jamie Finlayson; parents, Willie Frank & Alma Lee Russell Sanders; and all nine of her siblings. She is survived by her children & their spouses, Bill & Laura Lynn Bagents, Ricky & Terri Lynn Bagents, Mike & Lora Bagents, Tim & Terry Bagents, Melanie & Billy Bush, and Randy & Lisa Bagents; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; beloved caregivers who became like family, Mae Lou Lowery, Martha Foster, & Patricia Jones; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Overton Memorial Library at Heritage Christian University or Childhaven Children's Home.
