Martha Susanne Flynn

FLYNN, Mrs. Martha Susanne “Sue,” 90, a resident of Rutledge, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2017. A graveside service for Mrs. Flynn will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, October 1, in Rutledge Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Flynn was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Joe Harold Flynn, son, Joe Dexter Flynn, parents, Dexter and Adelia Cornett Martin, sister, Myzelle Griffin, and brother, Marshall Martin. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Martha Karen and Garth Brokaw, daughter-in-law, Charlotte Flynn, four grandchildren, Ashley Flynn (Lee) Hester, Brock (Nola) Flynn, Lara Brokaw (Michael) Ford, and Ryan Brokaw, and three great-grandchildren, Taylor Hester, Sawyer Flynn, and Riley Flynn. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Rutledge Cemetery Fund.
