Mary Lou Bodiford

BODIFORD, Mrs. Mary Lou, age 85, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from the chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Minister Dusty Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Luverne Emmaus Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Bodiford was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Costen Bodiford, two daughters, Sherry Taylor and Charlotte Majors, her parents, Warren C. and Corine Skipper Sansom, her sister, Callie Lowe and two brothers, Johnnie Sansom and Clifford Sansom. She is survived by her two sons, Robert Kenneth (Cindy) Taylor and Michael Lynn (Lisa) Taylor, eight grandchildren, Darrin Taylor, Misty (Jeremy) Powell, Derek Taylor, April (Brandon) Berrey, Trey Majors, Dusty (Peyton) Taylor, Sheena (Matt) Green, and Justin (Kasi) Thrash, nine great-grandchildren, and her sister, Ruby Lee Stalling. Active pallbearers will be Dusty Taylor, Derek Taylor, Darrin Taylor, Justin Thrash, Trey Majors, and Brandon Berrey. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 2, from 6-8pm.
