Mary Jo Elmore

ELMORE, Mrs. Mary Jo, 83, a resident of Goshen, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Ms. Elmore was preceded in death by her parents, Henry V. and Jo Frank Horn Elmore and her sister, Florence Elmore Durden. She is survived by her nephew, Henry H. Durden, granddaughter, Nancy Wicker (Demetrios) Green, three great-grandchildren, Elena Green, Brooklyn Green, and Aniyah Green, and her cousin, Hilda Horne. Active pallbearers will be Danny Killingsworth, Demetrios Green, Randall Glover, John Crowe, Jermaine Smith, Henry Durden, and Devorius Stroud. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 – 8pm.
