Mary Bozeman Jones

JONES, Mrs. Mary Bozeman, 85, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016. Funeral services for Mrs. Mary will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, December 6, from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Jones and Rev. Clay Crum officiating. Interment will follow in Luverne Emmaus Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Mary worked in retail in Luverne for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Watkins Jones, parents, Vernley and Myrtle McLeod Bozeman, sister, Jean B. Patterson, and niece, Lynn Patterson Deppen. Mrs. Mary is survived by her two sons, Mike (Debra) Jones and Ben Jones, five grandchildren, Greg (Heather) Jones, Elliott (Candy) Jones, Jason (Megan) Sasser, Thomas (Carla) Jones, and John Michael (Lindsey) Jones, thirteen great-grandchildren, Katelyn Jones, Lacey (Matthew) Sipper, Daniel Jones, Savannah Jones, Gracie Norman, Logan Byrd, Mitchell Sasser, Andrew Jones, Mari Michael Jones, Colton Jones, Alyssa Wolfe, Whitlee Lusk , and Jae Mullis, two great great-grandchildren, Emilee Sipper and Lorali Sipper, three loving nieces, Debbie Prescott, Rita Smith, and Rene Price, and nephew, Keith Thagard. Active pallbearers will be Greg Jones, Elliott Jones, Thomas Jones, John Michael Jones, and Daniel Jones. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9 – 10am.
