Mary Bolling Jordan

JORDAN, Mrs. Mary Bolling, 95, a resident of Luverne, AL, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Sunday, September 21, 2014 from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Childs officiating. Interment will follow in Rutledge Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Jordan is preceded in death by her husband, George Alex Jordan; daughter, Mary Alice Jordan; two sons, George Edward Jordan and Jesse Ray Jordan; sister, Ersie Mae Acreman; and a brother, H.O. Bolling. She is survived by five children, Carol Dillon, Betty (Jerry) Childs, David (Debra) Jordan, Gary (Patsy) Jordan, and Jake (April) Jordan; two daughters-in-law, Judy Jordan and Julie Jordan; 19 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 18 great great grandchildren; two sisters, Louise Holladay and Myrtice Laird; and brother, Christopher Bolling. Active pallbearers will be Niki Jordan, Bo Jordan, Shane Dillon, Scott Childs, Alex Jordan, and Michael Jordan. Honorary pallbearers will be Dusty Jordan, Pat Jordan, and Joshua Childs. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:30 until service time.
