Mary June Crowe

CROWE, Ms. Mary June, 83, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017. A graveside service will be held for Ms. Crowe at 11 AM on Wednesday, April 12, in Mt. Zion Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Jones officiating and Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Ms. Crowe was preceded in death by her parents, Barney Hoke and Nancy Jane “Tince” Stokes Crowe, four sisters, Eva Sorrels, Leona Brunson, Dorothy Geoghegan, and Syble Head, and three brothers, E.C. Crowe, William Clinton Crowe, and Winston Lamar Crowe. She is survived by three sisters, Olvie Johnson, Anne Smith, and Nancy (Jerry) Lowe, one brother, James Ivin (Helen) Crowe, and several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Dusty Gooden, James Barney Brunson, Michael Brunson, James Dewey Crowe, Jim Bass, and Jerry Lowe. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:30 – 10:30 AM.
