Mary Ann was truly one of the best people you could ever be fortunate enough to meet. She had an open door policy for both her home and heart, any and everyone was welcome. Such a generous heart of gold is a rare treasure in this world, and there is no telling how influential hers was on all the countless people whose lives she touched. It came easily, though, for her because she simply loved people. She found anyone she met interesting, and she would gladly talk their ear off for as long as they were willing to listen. Who knows, she might even discover you shared a long-lost common ancestor! Her generosity was legendary, but so was her sass! Mary Ann definitely knew her own mind, and didn't hesitate to speak it when the situation called for it. Didn't matter what the topic was, she probably had an opinion on it, and she'd happily share it with you! It was all done with an easygoing sense of humor, however, which often meant it went down fairly smoothly. It was all just a part of the charm that made her so special.
Mary Ann spent her life taking care of others. She always had a warm, loving home that was a favorite place to visit for most who knew her. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting and sewing special treasures to leave to family and friends. Any time spent outside tending to her beautiful flowers or simply watching her beloved hummingbirds was time well spent. She leaves behind a quite large collection of salt and pepper shakers...maybe only a thousand or two! If she was going to cheer for anyone, it was going to be the Alabama Crimson Tide, but even they couldn't hold a candle to her favorite entertainment: wrestling. That's right, Mary Ann was a true and dedicated lover of the flashy, dramatic, and hilarious show produced by groups like the WWE, and she'd be happy to sit down with you and discuss the latest matches and feuds! It was all just part of the magic that made Mary Ann who she was and so endearing to everyone who knew her. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, but, naturally, those grandchildren and great-grandchildren were easily her favorites. She was such a huge presence in the lives of her family and friends, that her passing has left many broken hearts here on earth. However, they will find comfort in both a lifetime of cherished memories and the knowledge that she is safe in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Billy DeWayne "Peanuts" Senn; three precious angel babies; parents, Lem & Eunice Fowler Killingsworth; and siblings, Dorothy Spivey, Betty Todd, Fay Williams, Billy Wayne Killingsworth Sr, Eugene Reynolds, Harvey Reynolds, and John Lamar Reynolds.
She is survived by her children, Terry (Laura) Senn, Michael (Angel) Senn, Hazel Fox, and Liz (Marcus) Moody; grandchildren, Carrie (Bryan) Senn, Dillion (Brittany) Senn, Austin (Zoey) Rodgers, Nicholas (Vanessa) Brady, Kelsey Brady, Tristan (Alexis) McLeod, Alex Morgan, Allie (Chris) Gay, and Mitchell Moody; great-grandchildren, Aubrie & Liam Adams, River Sanders, Morgan, Michaela, and Colt Brady, Bryson Brady, and Parrish & Tatum Gay; sister, Patricia (James) Kelley; sister-in-law, June Killingsworth; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
