Mary Juliette Mcvay

MCVAY, Mrs. Julie Payne, 93, a resident of Luverne died Sunday December 11, 2011. Funeral services will be 11 am Tuesday December 13, 2011 at the Luverne United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in the Luverne Emmaus Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. McVay is preceded in death by her husband, Ray McVay; two sisters, Hennie Norsworthy and Lucy Hill Soloman; a brother, Claudie Mack Everage; and her parents, Andrew and Mamie Payne. Survivors include two nieces, Eleanor Boswell and Ellen Soloman; nephew, Jack Soloman; four great nieces, Glenda Boswell, Eleanor (Danny) Pope, Jackie Payne and Susie (Darryl) Wilson; one great nephew, Will (Leah) Soloman; sister-in-law, Mattie Pearl Sport; and several great great nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Will Soloman, Darryl Wilson, Mark Boswell, Michael Boswell, Marcus Moody and Doug Cornett. Jack Soloman and Danny Pope will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 10 am until service time. The family requests that memorials be made to the Luverne United Methodist Church.
