Mary Louise Morgan

Louise Turner Morgan, 94, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 20th, 2023 at Luverne Health & Rehabilitation.

Louise was a proud graduate of the Class of 1947 from Luverne High School, and always enjoyed spending time with her former classmates at their many reunions and gatherings over the years. Not long after graduation, she went to work at Pepsi-Cola and was a dedicated employee for 31 years until her retirement. She was also a longtime member of Brantley Methodist Church and cherished her church family there. Above all, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who always loved her family and spending time with them.

Louise was preceded in death by her son, Steve Morgan; parents, Lloyd & Mary Locklar Turner; and brother, Joe Turner. She is survived by her children, Peggy (Jim) Himburg, David (Bonnell) Morgan, and Jerry Morgan; grandchildren, Jeffery Beck, Russell Ferguson, Dusty Morgan; several great and great-great-grandchildren; and a dear friend & caregiver, Flessia Bell.

A private memorial service may be planned at a later time.
