Mrs. Mary Jeannette Warren, 83, a resident of Princess Anne, Maryland, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. Funeral services for Mrs. Warren will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, April 24, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Brother Stae Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.
Born August 17, 1935 in Naylor, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late James W. & Pearl V. (née Boswell) Thomas. Mary worked for the F.B.I. under J. Edgar Hoover early in her career. Later, she and her late husband Aubrey Max Warren (2018) owned and operated SeaPride Crab House in Baltimore, Maryland from 1978-2014. She had also been portrayed in an HBO Special, “The Corner,” and was very well known all over Baltimore.
She is survived by her son, Ronald G. Warren and his wife Sandra of Baltimore; sister, Barbara Hale of Roanoke, Virginia; brother, Steven Thomas of Frederick, Maryland; grandchildren, Dana Burke, Diana Morton, Sean Jackson, Jeffrey Jackson, Joshua Burns, Matthew Warren, Michael Warren, and Evelyn Warren; eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; first cousin, Catherine Hall, and numerous friends.
In addition to her late husband of 49 years, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Sherry Ann Brooks and Cynthia Gale Seward; grandchildren, Ronald Warren, Jr., Tina Monroe, and Bud Wilkerson; sister, Margaret Warren; and brother, James Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Providence Cemetery, P.O. Box 67, Glenwood, Alabama 36034. They will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 - 11 A.M.
