Mattie Pearl Sport

Mrs. Mattie Pearl McVay Sport, 92, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019. Funeral services for Mrs. Sport will be held at 2 PM on Friday, August 16, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Clay Crum officiating. Interment will follow in Darien Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mrs. Sport was preceded in death by her husband, Ford Sport; their son, Marvin Sport; and her parents, Joseph Clarence and Mary Beth Hale McVay. She is survived by her two nephews, Doug Cornett and Wayne Matthews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1 - 2 PM.
