SMITH, Mrs. Maureen Joy, 65, a resident of Dozier, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, James Frank and Christine Ruth Godwin Baker, sister, Phyliss Strickland, and brother, James Frank Baker. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Nelson L. Smith, two children, Quentin Baker and Diana (Nikki) Smith, four grandchildren, Ashton & Dereck Thayer and Nathaniel & Christina Baker, great-granddaughter, Autumn-Lynn Nero, close nieces and nephews, Beth Ryals, Monica Brown, and James Baker, four sisters, Donna (Duran) Moore, Nancy Rogers, Gail McQuire, and Bonny Baker, and two brothers, Ray Baker and Daniel Baker.
