Max Windol Sasser

SASSER, Mr. Max Windol, 76, a resident of Dozier, AL died Monday, June 25, 2012. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 2 PM from Word of Faith Church with Rev. Keith Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in Old Union Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Sasser was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Williamson Sasser; his son, Max T. Sasser; his sister, Alice McCharge; and two brothers, Pierce Sasser and John W. “Boots” Sasser. He is survived by two children, Bobby W. Sasser and Tami (Travis) Cowart; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Southard, Audrey (Wendell) Flowers, and Ruby (Pete) Mansfield; and three brothers, Henry (Myrinez) Sasser, H. J. (Georgianne) Sasser, and Winston (Loretta) Sasser. Active pallbearers will be Tyler Cowart, Bobby Sasser, Jr., Jimmy Beasley, Corey Sasser, Charles Beasley, and Chris Matthews.The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday from 1 pm until service time.
