Mr. McArthur Flowers, 78, a resident of Honoraville, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 21st, 2021.
Mr. Flowers was a great character and a lot of fun to be around for everyone. They knew if he joked with you or teased you, that only meant he liked you. He was a kind and generous man with everyone, and quite the charmer as well. He loved spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and there were few things he enjoyed more than some good, homemade, Southern cooking. He also liked to keep up with what was going on in the news as much as possible. Above all though, he was a consummate family man, whether you were family by blood or those he considered family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and he will be sorely missed beyond measure.
Mr. Flowers was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Flowers, and their son, Franklin "Tim" Flowers. He is survived by his children, Ramona (Tim) Beam, Cynthia Rodgers, and David Pittman; grandchildren, Mandy Cannon, Dyana Scrushy, Nikki Rodgers, McArthur Huggins, Brittany Beam, Ally Pittman, and Remington Pittman; and several great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Mr. Flowers' life will be held at a later date.
