Mervin Clark Schofield

SCHOFIELD, Mr. Mervin Clark, 78, a resident of Luverne died Tuesday January 14, 2014. Funeral services will be 2 pm Friday January 17, 2014 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Greg Poff, Joe Rex Sport, and Josiah Strowd officiating. Interment will follow in the Luverne Emmaus Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Schofield is preceded in death by his parents, Theo and Mattie Clark Schofield and a brother, Wilburn Schofield. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Evelyn W. Schofield; three daughters, Belinda (Bobby) Strowd, Debbie (Greg) Poff, and Missy (Buck) Hanson; seven grandchildren, Jessica (Brad) Hickman, Jena (Justin) Hester, Josiah Strowd, Jacob Strowd, Jackson Hanson, Hannah Jo Strowd, and Mattie Hanson; three great grandchildren, Bradleigh Hickman, Anna Clark Hickman, and Luke Hester; and a sister, Flora Nell (Jack) Armstrong. Active pallbearers will be Josiah Strowd, Jackson Hanson, Jacob Strowd, Brad Hickman, Justin Hester, and Tim Armstrong. The family will receive friends Friday at the funeral home from 12:30pm until service time.
