Michael Brock Sims

SIMS, Mr. Michael Brock, 32, a resident of Luverne, AL, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, January, 22, 2014 at Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Malcolm Butts officiating. Interment will follow at Live Oak Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne, AL directing. Mr. Sims was preceded in death by his grandfather, Mixon Carroll Sims and grandmother, Ramona Morgan King. He is survived by his parents, Michael Carroll Sims and Elaine King (Alexander) Adams; two children, Jon Mixon Sims and Madaline Brooke Sims; two sisters, Sommer Sims (Seth) Watson and Lauren Sims (Stallion) Sasser; and one brother, Cody Alexander Adams. Active pallbearers will be Buck Jones, Kenny Jones, Sims Wingard, William Wingard, Chris Stephens, Brett Stephens, Keith Stephens, and Lorenzo Adams. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, January 21, 2014 from 5pm until 8pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Alabama Baptist Children’s Home, 1302 Ross Clark Circle, Dothan, AL 36301.
