Milton Monroe "Little Roe" Pettus

PETTUS, Mr. Milton Monroe “Little Roe”, a resident of Glenwood, AL, died Sunday, April 12, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 2 PM from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Pettus was preceded in death by his father, William Monroe Pettus. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Sharon Tadlock Pettus; two children, Eden (Cortney) Ward and Cole (Alicia) Garner; three grandchildren, Knight Garner, Olivia Ward, and Neal Ward; his step-mother, Jeanette Pettus; his mother, Jewel S. McCormick; seven sisters and one brother. Active pallbearers will be Craig Luster, Kerry Pettus, Joey Knox, Tom Schexnayder, Britt Arthur, and Jason Wyrosdick. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial donations be made to the Glenwood Volunteer Fire Dept. or one’s favorite charity. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:30 until service time.
