Minerva Sims Rerecich

Minerva Sims Rerecich, 92, died on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover, New Jersey.

Born in Glenwood, Alabama, Mrs. Rerecich later lived in Rockaway Twp. for 54 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Randolph, as well as an avid gardener and storyteller.

She was predeceased by her husband, Francis Rerecich, in 2008.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Teresa "Terry" Rerecich of Rockaway Twp.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, July 25 from 5:00 – 6:30 PM, with a prayer service concluding visiting at 6:30 PM at Whitham-Kanapaux Funeral Home, 20 Keller Avenue, Rockaway, New Jersey.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 26 at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 120 Dover Chester Road, Randolph, New Jersey. Interment will be held at a later date in Brantley Cemetery in Brantley, Alabama.
