Minnie Leenig Lunsford

LUNSFORD, Mrs. Minnie Leenig, 90, a resident of Luverne died Monday June 13, 2011. Funeral services will be 2 pm Thursday June 16, 2011 at Centenary Assembly of God Church with Rev. Lynn Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Lunsford is preceded in death by her husband, William F. “ Bill “ Leenig. Survivors include three sisters, Dorothy Daughtry, Ruth (Louis) Pape and Joyce (Jimmy) French; a brother, Lamar (Sarah) Armstrong; and a host of nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Billy Joe Evans, Kenneth Jackson, Daniel Littles, Wilbur Littles, Andrew Kelley and Seyth Smith. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 1 pm until service time.
