Monirhee Beasley White

Mrs. Monirhee “Knot” Beasley White, 89, a resident of Highland Home, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2019. Funeral services for Mrs. White will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, March 28, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Highland Home with Elder Kent Vaughn and Elder Michael Nimmer officiating. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mrs. White was a hard-working and loving person. She spent many years working as both a farmer and a rural mail carrier for the United States Post Office. She was generous with all those she loved and cared for, and will be deeply missed by all of them.

Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husband, Hallie White; parents, Rushel and Mamie White Beasley; two brothers, Thomas Raymond Beasley and Charles Laman Beasley; and nephew, Gary Beasley. She is survived by her three siblings, Mittie (Winston) Stockman, Myra Stringer, and Rufus O’Neal Beasley; three children, Windell Sexton, Greg (Beverly) Sexton, and Stan (Yvonne) Sexton; and seven nieces, Donna (Craig) Horne, Barbara (Ken) Sexton, Janice (David) Worthington, Sandra (Kent) Vaughn, Vickie (Louie) Wilson, Tammy (Greg) Roy, and Karen (Steve) Schroder.

Active pallbearers will be Jerry Williamson, Randy Beasley, Ricky McElwain, Jerry Register, Dylan Horne, and Adam Worthington. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 10 - 11 AM.
