Morgan Warrick

Mr. Thomas Morgan Warrick, 80, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 25, 2019. Funeral services for Mr. Warrick will be held at 2 PM on Monday, January 28, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. Warrick was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who was devoted to his family and his church. He proudly served his country with the United States Army and Army Reserves, and he will be fondly remembered for the enjoyment he took in simple tasks like cutting the grass.

Mr. Warrick was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Cora Warrick; six sisters, Maggie Betterton, Carrie Senn, Florence Atwell, Addie Mae Catrett, Irene Wallace, and Evelyn Arnold; and four brothers, Lewis, Joe, Charlie B., and Walter Warrick. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Peggy Fuller Warrick; three children, Terry (Teri) Warrick, Timmy (Terri) Warrick, and Tina (Robert) Webb; eight grandchildren, Tracy (Amos) Josey, Trey Warrick, Trent Warrick, Tabitha (Rod) Drake, Tony Joseph “TJ” (Linda) Lawley, Rebekah Sandifer, P.J. Sandifer, and Zachary Sandifer; and sixteen great-grandchildren, Schuyler Josey, Mercy Drake, Tyler Josey, Joey Lawley, Hyram Josey, Michael Drake, Mason Drake, Julianne Drake, Peyton Drake, Logan Josey, Morgan Josey, Noah Josey, Sullivan Sandifer, Stella Sandifer, Paloma Sandifer, and Sage Sandifer.

Active pallbearers will be Trey Warrick, Trent Warrick, Gerald Wallace, Rex Wallace, Pat Leverett, and Donny Bodiford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 12:30 - 2pm.
