Morris Glenn Tucker, Sr.

TUCKER, Mr. Morris G., Sr., 85, a resident of Ramer, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016. Funeral services for Mr. Tucker will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, September 24, from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. J.C. Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Stewart Sunday officiating and Turner Funeral Home directing. Mr. Tucker proudly served in the United States Army with the 31st Division during the Korean Conflict and retired after 30 years with the United States Civil Service. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Shirlie Norman Tucker, son, Morris G. “Buddy” Tucker, Jr., and parents, Billy and Gracie McDowell Tucker. Mr. Tucker is survived by his daughter, Beth (Charlie) Roberson, two grandsons, Glenn (Brandy) Tucker and Chad (Kristen) Roberson, three great-grandchildren, Blake Tucker, Madison Tucker, and Carleigh Tucker, and daughter-in-law, Connie Tucker. Active pallbearers will be Glenn Tucker, Chad Roberson, Blake Tucker, Bob Tucker, James Tucker, Steve Huett, and Delmas Norman. The family requests that any memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Shirlie and Buddy Tucker. They will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 – 11 AM.
