Nellie Bailey Cook

COOK, Mrs. Nellie Bailey, 83, a resident of Brantley died Tuesday February 8, 2011. Funeral services will be 2 pm Friday February 11, 2011 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. William Leverette and Rev. David Richburg officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Ida Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Cook is preceded in death by her husband, Cullen L. Cook; son, Cullen Taylor Cook; parents, M.C. and Carrie Wilson Bailey; sister, Elizabeth Wells; and two brothers, Jack Bailey and John Bailey. She is survived a sister, Susie B. Carnes; brother-in-law, Augusta (Dorothy) Cook; two sisters-in-law, Mildred Bailey and Grace Cook; and a number of nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Donald Carver, Ricky Compton, Donny Bodiford, Pete Johnson, Jeff Evans and Ivan Langford. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 pm until 8 pm.
