Mrs. Brittney Nicole Mount Jordan, 32, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019. Funeral services for Mrs. Jordan will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, September 5, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Clay Crum and Brother Jason Holliday officiating. Interment will follow in Luverne Emmaus Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.
Nicole had a personality that could fill up any room she entered. She had an infectious smile and laugh, and freely shared her passion for life with all those she loved. She was the proud assistant director of the Crenshaw County Adult Care Center, where she was dedicated to helping those most in need of care and attention later in life. Above all, Nicole will be remembered for being a loving mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend. She loved fiercely, and was much loved in return. She will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Nicole was preceded in death by her father, Arnold Lee Mount; grandmother, Louise Bolling Mount; and great-grandparents, Parker and Hazel Worthington. She is survived by the two children she loved more than anything, Jesse Ray “Tripp” Jordan III and Ellyanna Rae Jordan; her mother and stepfather, Jennifer Colquett and Dewayne Duke; brother, Caleub (Ericka) Mount; grandparents, Charles and Mary Ann Colquett; niece, Piper Mount; nephew, Greysen Mount; two aunts, Wanda (Dwight) Acreman Senn and Juanita McGough; three great-uncles, Lomax (Clara) Colquett, Bo (Emma Jean) Colquett, and Raymond Colquitt; great-aunt, Louise Sasser; special cousins, Brandon (Heather) Acreman, David McGough, Daryl (Shannon) McGough, and Scottie (Brittnay) McGough; and a host of other loving cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Active pallbearers will be Daryl McGough, David McGough, Scottie McGough, Sumpter Holmes, Justin Jordan, and Josh Mount. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to a fund established to provide for her children. They will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 - 11 AM.
