Noel Herman Darnell

Mr. Noel Herman Darnell, 73, a resident of Honoraville, Alabama, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019. Funeral services for Mr. Darnell will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, March 14, at Union Baptist Church with Brother Mason Halacker and Rev. Joe Leverette. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.

Mr. Darnell spent many years after college working as an engineer in water management designs. He also spent over 40 years as a deacon in the church. He will be lovingly remembered by those he leaves behind for his dedication to serving his Lord and Savior throughout his life.

Mr. Darnell was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Ann Creamer, and his parents, Herman Daniel and Gertie Lee Uptain Darnell. He is survived by his loving wife, Catherine Earley Darnell; four children, LeeAnn (Terrell) Brown, Karen (Kim) Willis, Tammy (Rusty) Hicks, and Beth Ashworth (Vernon Flowers); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his two siblings, Robert (Edna) Darnell and Sandra Johnson.

The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 10 - 11 AM.
