Nora Walker Harris

HARRIS, Mrs. Nora Walker, 70, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018. Funeral services for Mrs. Harris will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, February 6, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Aaron Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow in Cool Springs Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Gene Harris, parents, Louis Junior and Rosa Kelley Walker, and an infant brother, David Walker. She is survived by her four children, Nora Annette Harris, Gloria Harris, Jimmy (Angela) Harris, and Timothy Harris, seven grandchildren, Mark, Johnathan, Jennifer, Hope, Allison, Brandon, and Brandy, ten great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mary (Aaron) Pruitt and Lynn Peters, brother, Louis Thomas Walker, and several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Mark Harris, Johnathan Harris, Luke Dykes, Jonathan Carswell, James Mulligan, and William Green. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1 - 2pm.
