Opal Fay Bryan

BRYAN, Mrs. Opal Fay, age 85, a resident of Highland Home, AL, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. William Leverette officiating. Interment will follow in Bullock Community Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Bryan was preceded in death by her husband, Holland Bryan; two sons, Danny Keith Bryan and Bobby Bryan; daughter, Annette Bryan Bell; parents, Tobe and Vida Wright Summerlin; stepmother, Jane Andrews Summerlin; and stepbrother, Remus Andrews. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Faye and Joe White; five grandchildren, Terry (Cindy) Flowers, Michael Flowers, Chris (Tammie) Bryan, Keith (Hope) Bryan, and Sharon (Ronnie) White; seven great-grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Terry Flowers, Blake Bryan, Zack Bryan, Ronnie White, Douglas Senn, and Morgan Faulk. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial donations be made to one’s favorite charity. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:30pm until service time.
