Otis Earl Davis

DAVIS, Mr. Otis Earl, 71, a resident of Lapine, AL died Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 17, 2012 at 2 PM from Mountain Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Chuck Francisco and Rev. Ruby Beck officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his parents, Zimmerman & Beatrice Davis, along with a sister and four brothers. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Janice S. Davis; five sons, Otis A. (Tracey) Davis, Charles Earl (Sharon) Davis, Shannon Todd (Robin) Davis, Dave (Becca) Mosley, and Gary Davis; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; three sisters, Sylvia Coyte, Jean (Ralph) Jefferson and Addie Davis; and two brothers, Doug (Rona) Davis and Bill Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Lennon Green, Steve Perdue, Frances Kummel, Butch Sexton, and Bobby Benton. Active pallbearers will be Charles Davis, Bill Sexton, Dave Myrick, Chad Peavy, Joe Wright, and David Dickey. The family will receive friends at Turner Funeral Home Thursday evening from 6-8 pm.
