Patricia Ann Carr

Mrs. Patricia Ann Sawyer Carr, 73, a resident of Rutledge, Alabama and formerly of Lutz, Florida, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on Tuesday, May 26, 2020.

Mrs. Carr was a graduate of Chamberlain High School in Tampa, Florida and married her high school sweetheart, Phillip Carr, in 1966. She was a devoted mother to their two daughters, and stayed actively involved in all their activities from the PTA to the Girl Scouts. Once they were both in school, Mrs. Carr went on to become the manager of a local medical office. In her free time, she loved baking and both hunting and fishing with her husband. She was also a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a kind, loving person who never met a stranger. She will be sorely missed by all the loved ones she leaves behind.

Mrs. Carr was preceded in death by her parents, William Franklin & Viola Lee Acree Sawyer, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Phillip Lee Carr; two daughters, Catherine L. (Matt) Roberts and Kimberly D. Barker; four grandchildren, Dillon L. Barker, Shelby L. Barker, Jason M. Roberts, and Amanda L. Roberts; and many other family members and friends.
