Patricia Barr Pittman

PITTMAN, Mrs. Patricia Barr, 76, a resident of Rutledge, AL died Saturday, January 18, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 25, 2014 from Luverne Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Rutledge Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Pittman is preceded in death by her parents, John Leslie and Mary Branch Barr, and two brothers, Danny Barr and Byron Barr. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jack Pittman; two daughters, Cynthia Diane (Daniel) Summerall and Rhonda Ann Smith; five grandchildren, Kim Peters, Kristy Poczik, Patricia Miller, Patrick Smith, and Elise Smith; nine great grandchildren; and one brother, Gene (Linda) Barr. Active pallbearers will be Patrick Smith, Kevin Peters, Brett Stephens, Donnie Wood, Larry Holmes and Steve Beavers. Billy Palmer will service as an honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6-8 pm.
