Patrick Stanley Robinson

Patrick Stanley Robinson, 68, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, January 4th, 2025. There is no service planned at this time.

Pat was a trained and educated electrical engineer, but truly he was just a jack of all trades who could do anything he set his mind to do. It didn't hurt that he was also extremely strong-willed and independent throughout his life, which served him so well at everything he tried his hand at. Obviously, he was the kind of man who was a doer, not a talker...especially when it came to helping others. He was always extremely generous to a fault who firmly believed in doing all he could to put good back in the world. That was a lesson instilled from a good Catholic upbringing and Pat held to his faith after leaving his native Michigan and settling in Crenshaw County where he became a parishioner at St. Martin of Tours in Troy. In his free time, Pat loved a good football game, but there were few things he enjoyed more than simply taking in a beautiful day on his porch either soaking up the sun or watching the local fauna, especially the deer. Above all, he was a faithful, loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother who truly loved his family with his whole heart and enjoyed being their rock that they could always depend on. If there were more people like Pat in the world, it would surely be a much better place.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Jack & Catherine Shippis Robinson; siblings, Mike Robinson, Maureen Robinson, and Dennis Robinson; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Robinson and Karen Robinson. He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Robinson; their daughter & her fiancé, Bonnie Getz & Warren Fambrough; grandchildren, Trevor Vinson (Amanda Davidson) and Jake Fambrough; siblings, Kathy (Greg) Carr, Gail (Jerry) Lutheran, Eileen (Dave) Carr, John Robinson, Lisa Valdez, and Gerilyn Robinson; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
