Patsy Senn Brooks

Mrs. Patsy Senn Brooks, 78, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 5th, 2022. Funeral services for Mrs. Brooks will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, July 10th, from the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Rayburn officiating. Interment will follow in Brantley Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 - 2 PM.

Mrs. Brooks spent most of her working career as the store manager of the Big Little Store in Brantley. She was such a dedicated worker that she couldn't even stop after her retirement, but opened her own business cleaning houses with her sister, Mary. In her free time, there were few things she loved more than exhibiting her gifted green thumb in her garden of beautiful flowers. When not at work, she was often at the Market or Papa's Place during the day. She loved music, but no artist came close to earning her adoration the way Elvis Presley did! She was also a longtime, dedicated member of Calvary Baptist Church. Above all, she was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who truly treasured and cherished the time she spent with her family. She left this world far too quickly, but her legacy of love will live on in the memories of her loved ones.

Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Steve Brooks; parents, Buster & Lottie Bane Senn; and her brother, Joseph Senn. She is survived by her beloved children, Pam (Jackie) Cook and Bradley (Angel) Brooks; grandchildren, Jody (Lacy) Cook, Paige (Patrick) Smith, Autumn McDonald, Kayla Thompson, and Daniel Warrick; great-grandchildren, Mckenzie Searcy, Colton Searcy, Audrey Beth Cook, Paislee Smith, Hudson Cook, and Paxton Smith; siblings, Betty Donaldson, Shirley Davis, Janice (Myron) Anderson, and Mary (Larry) Ryals; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Adam Ryals, Josh Ryals, Drew Brooks, Daniel Warrick, Phil Rayburn, and Sandy Smith.
