Patti Jo Everage

EVERAGE, Ms. Patti Jo, 54, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Catoma Baptist Church in Montgomery, AL with Rev. Gary Miller officiating. Interment will follow at 2PM in Mt. Zion Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne, AL directing. Ms. Everage was a member of Catoma Baptist Church and of the Alabama Society of CPA’s. She was employed with ALFA Insurance for 34 years, working in Accounting with her last position being VP of Financial Systems. Patti was an avid fan and supporter of the University of Alabama, where she established a scholarship fund for accounting students. Ms. Everage was preceded in death by her father, Aubrey H. Everage. She is survived by her mother, Louise Wyatt Everage; brother, Tommy (Dana) Everage; niece, Shannon (Todd) Powers; and one great-nephew, Jack Aubrey Powers. The family would like to thank Felicia, Von, Erica, and Nancy at Montgomery Hospice, and Leslie and Dr. Barnes at MCC. The family would also like to thank everyone for their prayers and the kindness shown to Patti during her illness. They will receive friends on Tuesday at the church from 9:30-11AM.
