Paul Mitchell Jones

JONES, Mr. Paul Mitchell, 93, a resident of Luverne, AL died Monday, July 26, 2010. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 11 AM from Campground United Methodist Church with Rev. Cliff Cobb officiating. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his wife Verby Kennedy Jones; two grandchildren, Elena Marie Jones and Brooks K. Jones; his parents, Frank & Alice Mitchell Jones; sister, Erma Lois Mills; and daughter-in-law, Carol Ann Jones. He is survived by three children, Peggy Jones Stephens, Leon (Donna) Jones and Paul Ray Jones; eight grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be Johnny Jones, Randy Kennedy, Brannon Golden, Mitch McLeod, Marino Bolling, and Alex Golden. The family requests memorial donations be made to Campground United Methodist Church or to one’s favorite charity. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6 – 8.
