Peggy Ann Furlong

FURLONG, Mrs. Peggy Ann Worthington, 74, a resident of Highland Home and formerly of Birmingham died Friday November 26, 2010 after a brief illness. Funeral services will be 11 am Monday November 29, 2010 at the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Dr. Mickey Castleberry and Rev. Bill Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Furlong is preceded in death by her husband, John R. Furlong, Jr. and her parents, Lamon and Florence Cook Worthington. Survivors include two sisters, Mary A. (Joe) White and Judy (John) Richardson; a brother, David (Janice) Worthington; and several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Dale Reese, Hunter Reese, Adam Worthington, Brad Worthington, Jerry Carter and Phil Marlar. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 10 am until service time.
