Peggy Sue Hurley

HURLEY, Peggy Sue, 61, a resident of Goshen, Alabama, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016. Funeral services for Peggy will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, August 18, from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Hopewell Cemetery in Goshen with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Peggy was preceded in death by her father, Travis Williams, mother, Doris Williams Lewis, stepfather, R.J. Lewis, three brothers, and four sisters. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Joseph Lamar Hurley, Sr., four children, Joseph Lamar (Renee) Hurley, Jr., Melissa Lynn Hurley, Jason Daniel Hurley, and Amanda Hurley (Randy) Miles, six grandchildren, Jessica Hurley, Brittany Hurley, Kaitlyn Hurley, Destiny Rhodes, Joelie Morse, and John Maison Hurley, four great-grandchildren, two sisters, Ellen Richardson and Debra (Joey) Warrick, and brother, Danny (Gina) Lewis. Active pallbearers will Alan Coggins, Drake Sanders, J.W. Golden, Mike Jones, Jason Miles, and Jim Shaver. Lewis Sanders and Randy Miles will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30 – 11 AM.
